Day fifteen: PADI start and nursery work

Today I only started at 9.30, because I couldn't come on the agroforestry hike at 8 due to my 9.30 diving thing. So I had a lot of time to kill in the morning. I talked to D,A in the morning, she is going to get het rescue and dive master here. Very exciting! Then at around 6, I did a workout with N, which was really nice. Then had breakfast and talked and chilled a bit until 9.30.

At 9.30 me and Ni (who's also getting her open water) had equipment setup with Charle and Esther. This was cool and easier than expected! Charle showed us how everything worked, gave some explications and we set up and took down our equipment 3 times. Then he showed us where to put it away and that was that for the day.

After lunch it was time to work on the nursery with the forest group. We have a new forest guide? Coordinator? Teacher? Idk. But Fedi is not there anymore and now there is Justin. He's also really nice (but I do really miss Fedi :') ). At first me and L planted some seeds in one part of the nursery. Then we helped the others to make a new nursery structure. We cut up the bamboo we collected so we could make a structure with them. We did this using saws and machetes. It is amazing how easily they can use a machete, it is genuinely mind boggling. It was hard work, but we really pulled something off, so that's nice. 

After this we had a short break and went down to main house to make bamboo straws. I like making bamboo straws. We just sit around sanding the bamboo pieces with some nice music on. I really like it.

L, K and I then played some Domino with Justin and Emile. It was a lot of fun!! The staff here play it a lot, and very passionately. Love it.

After dinner I chilled a bit and laid down at the sea with S. I needed that, it was nice.
