Day ten: reptile survey and fun tests

Today started of as a nice calm morning again, until about 7, at which time I am joining N and K for a workout on the beach. It was pretty nice and fun! N was a good instructor and has a similar taste in music :)

After the workout I had to get ready for the day, because we were going on a reptile survey at 8. About 4 people in iur group weren't there though, as they had decided to leave to Hellville? They aren't really team players and kind of just do what they want..

The reptile survey was nice! I know all the chameleons and gecko's now, so it's fun to point them out. We saw a LOT of reptiles! We even saw a Brookesia Stumpffi (chameleon that looks like a leaf). After the survey, we ate some fresh pineapple Fedy got us. Amazing. Then, after the short break, me and No did data entry, while the others worked on the nursery. Now it was time to wait for lunch. Lunch was very quite, because wednesday is bean day and a lot of people don't like that, so they order pizza's that get delivered by boat.

After lunch it was time for my gecko and chameleon test with Fedy while the rest studied them with Émile. It went well, I passed! Got one wrong that really confused me, but Fedy had the same thing when he took the test hahaha. It was really fun with Fedy, he is a really nice and fun person. After the test I learned some snakes and skinks with him and got a lot of stories about them. It was really fun. He really doesn't like them, so he had some good stories. Also about where they mostly are, how they are to the people here, where he'd seen them, one was in his pillow once, one fell on him. It was fun hahaha. Then after that it was time for people to do bamboo straws, while Fedy, K, L and I went to the frog place. This was (again) really really fun! Fedy, K and L are all fun people that are nice to be around, so I had a really good time. We saw some tiny frogs, some tad poles, a chilopoda and a loooot of leaches. We also saw a snake along the way (Fedy saw it and we desperately looked for it, especially K hahaha. We had to fill the frog place with more water, but the pipe lines weren't really working. After a while we went back.

Back at camp we saw people sitting realy for the bird call test again, so I joined. After the third one however, the computer died. Émile felt really bad about it, which was sad, but it was totally okay.

Now that our program was over, me, Ma, Sa and No (my roommates) decided to go snorkling, which is always very good. Then I chilled a bit until dinner (which had an amazing coconut/sugar rock treat, it was amazing!!). After dinner me and my roommates chatted a bit, their stomach was really upset. After a while we went to the dining area where we played yahtzee. N soon joined, which was really nice. H, a boy at another table, had a big cockroach fall on him, which made him and everyone else freak out, which was quite funny.
